The eastern shore welcomed Ms. Given in January 2020. She traveled quite a distance to teach my young pre-kindergarten learners about the importance of the Chesapeake Bay. My students enjoyed the lesson and were very engaged. Ms. Given made it a priority to include all of my students, use hands on teaching methods, and created opportunities for students to work independently to create something meaningful to them. We look forward to more lessons with her and hope to hatch chicks next time!"
