Science Learning Lab, LLC. was founded through a love of science curriculum development and education. The mission is to bring science to anyone, anywhere with lessons that are aligned to specific state science standards and Next Generation Science Standards. My goal is to develop all lessons with an interactive, hands-on component and assist teachers and educators in meeting their science goals.
My love for curriculum development began during my work on my master's thesis. I spent several months developing a curriculum for 6th-8th graders in West Virginia. I now have over five years' experience in science curriculum development and many more in science education! I enjoy seeing the progress of students' learning as they are able to visualize the information in each science lesson.
Science has been integrated with other subjects for many years. My goal is to develop lessons that are interdisciplinary as well as interactive. Most lessons encourage student-led learning as they discover new topics and a love for science. I have worked closely with schools, early learning centers, homeschool groups, and scout programs. I love helping educators bring their classrooms (indoor or outdoor) to life!
